NStar Energy Pilot - The Translate

The Translate serves as an interpreter for the meter. Your meter currently sends outbound signals about your electricity consumption, and the Translate takes those signals and "translates" them so that they can be sent to the devices in your home and enable two-way communication between your equipment and NSTAR. (Quick Reference Guide)   The device has two green lights on at all times when it is working normally, it can be placed anywhere on your grid. I've moved this unit around a few times already since it doesn't need to be seen.
