The Insight in-home display provides near real-time feedback on your
energy consumption without the need for an Internet connection. With
Insight, you can view your present usage (kW) and the associated cost
per hour.
You can also check your current period-to-date usage and
projected bill amount. This tells you how much you've already spent and
how much your bill is estimated to be at the end of the billing period,
based on your consumption history. It's the ideal way to stay informed

At time of installation, the first unit we tried had a bad screen. The technician claimed that many of these units were DOA.
The display also shows current temperature and conditions outside, detailed cost and usage from NStar. The navigation isn't that intuitive and the buttons on the top right serve little function except for setting options.
